Double-sized shorcut

Postby adam0509 » 14 Feb 2007 21:05

Hi,

I'd like to know if there's a key-board shortcut to read a video with double-size (zoom 200%).

thanks in advance

VLC version: OVER 9000!!!
Operating System: It's...blue screen
Location: Heaven? No no. What's that other place that starts with an "H"? Oh yes: Home. ^_^

VLC media player version 0.6.8? Maybe the hotkey isn’t available for that version. Why not just upgrade to the latest?

NO, THE HOKEY IS NOT AVAILABLE, EVEN IN 0.6.8a >___<

getting sick of this, even Windows Media Player 8/9/10/11 got the shorcut to resize a video, that's a shame seriously !!

Have you looked in the preferences ? Tick advanced. GO to interface, hotkeys and there is a list.

I'm not aware of a version 0.6.8a and the "z" hotkey is not listed in Preferences, Hotkeys nor does it work in Windows.

Try the Zoom video option in Preferences, Video.

you'll have to wait for 0.9.0 then ... since it's definitively in there.

Hi dionoea, I'm just curious if that feature to have / assign custom shortcut keys for zooming the video to half/normal/double size is still going to be included in 0.9.0 as you said in this thread, since it is now more than a year after you posted that comment and we are still only up to 0.8.6 and I can't find any such shortcuts in it...

Something like Alt-1, Alt-2, Alt-3, or Ctrl-1, Ctrl-2, Ctrl-3 like in WMP would be great....

Also, why can the hotkey for "zoom" be changed from "z"? It is not listed under Interface - Hotkeys settings, even if Advanced options is checked. BTW "z" does NOT work on my VLC (0.8.6f) - it does not cycle between zoom factors.
