Hi,

i'd really like to only have the VLC icon in the systray as i don't need it in the task bar. I'd like an option where i can disable the taskbar appearance.

thx

Clicking on the Tray icon? Then the video also hides.

Is possible new option - Minimize to systray?
When minimize, always hide VLC in taskbar.

Please, is it possible to to return back function - Minimize to systray?
When minimize, always hide VLC in taskbar.
(I know stupid decision of Microsoft regarding Skype not to support minimize-to-tray, but not the whole universe must follow them.)
Thanks.

You still can do that.

Click on the icon to do so.
Maybe an additional option in the preferences would help? Perhaps something like "X minimise to tray" would make it more clear?

Just a thought. :?:

Thanks.

Sorry, that makes no sense. You cannot hide and not hide at the same time.

And you cannot have a visible Window that is not in the taskbar. This violates all the guidelines.
