Hello,

Settings like eq settings, crop, aspect ratio etc.. are not saved after restart app. I need to open full preferences window and click save from there to make all changes saved. It seems to be good idea to make settings like equaizer, effects etc. auto saved, because many people are confused if they change (for example) graphic equalizer settings in eq window (after click eq button in main vlc window) and there is no clear way to save changes.

I think this is quite useful and should not be very difficult, so consider this if you agree.

For ourselves. It is a nice hobby.

(requesting same feature multiple times won't help, and there isn't any guarantees that feature request will be implemented, if you NEED something, hire a coder)

Eq settings are saved in VLC 2.0.0 (at least under Qt4 interface)

Can Lua read and set actual various VLC settings and change them "on the fly"? I am just trying to find out capabilities of VLC Lua scripting whether it would be possible to make some extension or interface for tasks like saving/loading settings, remember actual media file and playback position on VLC close, pause/play video by mouse single click on video (like on youtube), ...

LUA script should be able to adjust Eq settings (in VLC 2.0.0 and newer).
