64-bit VLC?

Just wondering if/when VLC will be optimized for 64-bit support (Win7).

There already builds for it, QT4 interface just doesn't work currently in 64 bit and that is why the 64 bit VLC isn't shared via download section.

Question: I checked that directory and all the EXE/ZIP files indicate 32-bit, with the latest file dated in January.

(there was a vlc-1.2.0-qit-20110108-1420-win32.exe as well)

If they're 64-bit, why are they listed as 32-bit?

Are you using this version of QT that's built for mingw-w64? http://qt.gitorious.org/qt/qt-mingw-w64 ... arball/4.7
