Can you retain slow motion settings when looping?

I received a forum reply once before (couple months ago or more, but identity of sender now unknown) on this same question...... that the ability to retain slow motion or any play-speed settings when looping or repeating a video was coming in the next version. It appears that this feature has not yet been included, although there has been at least two, if not more, version updates since. Do you intend to add this feature in the future at any time?

You can set the rate from Preferences, that way it will be used on all videos.

Settings autosaving will hopefully be in VLC 1.2.0

Sorry, but I was unable to find any way to set slow motion for (all) videos in the preferences section. Could you be more

specific about the location.
