Stackflow VLC: Possibility to place HTML elements above VLC

I want to be able to place HTML elements above a VLC object in internet explorer (8)
I am using the internet explorer plug-in from VLC 1.1.9.
As far as i know, there is no fix for this to date.
If someone is able to code this, i am willing to hire their services to make it so.
