It is so boring if i need each update (1.1.7 1.1.8 1.1.9 1.1.10 etc) to download and setup new version manually.
Can developers to configure VLC on auto-update?
-"Want you update a VLC"?
-"Yes"
and program will auto downloading and auto-install to its directory.

i need just click "OK". without any manual downloads and manual setup..

I'd love that considering the manual operation can just be a pain in the arse a lot of the time.

can developers add an option checkbox "Autoupdate in silence mode / Update manually" ?

The issue is about:
- Developer time;
- Testing it.

This is a good idea though, but will only happen when someone does it.
