I dont understand why VLC does not support DTD-HD MA yet... What are your plans about it?

AFAIK there isn't an open source DTS-HD Master Audio decoder available. You can extract the DTS core of a DTS-HD track and playback that.

oh and the ffdshow 7 beta has Support for DTS-HD and Dolby TrueHD bitstreaming http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/

A new version of the specification was just posted at ETSI in August. It includes all of the extensions: 96/24, 7.1, DTS-HD, DTS-HD Master Audio. Any hope that libdca will revive and add support for these?

Patches are welcome, but yes, that would be a good idea.
