Downloading File Broken Index
Posted: 07 Apr 2011 03:56
Good Day Fellows
I often watch movies as they are downloading. Each time I view it it gives an "broken index" alert, asking me if I want to fix the index.
While, as you might imagine, the index should never be fixed on a downloading file.
My feature request is this, detect if the file be played is currently being downloaded. If it is, skip the broken index message. If there is a way to make indexing work better (with the presumption that all the index information downloaded thus far is correct and not broken) but rather as a file is downloading it is rather incomplete, rather than broken, all the better. Its a distinction that I feel VLC would be the better for.
Thanks
Wonderful job on this amazing player. Its my first choice for watching movies.
