Hello,

perhaps I will ask for a feature which has been already asked a hundred times before, but I do not see it in the forum.... so I take a chance !

I have a Matrox video capture card which is encoding my video file from a camera into MJPEG 2000 files.
As long I am replaying my video file with matrox lib on the PC which has generated the file, no problems, but I was thinking to replay thoses files with VLC on others PC and it seems this codec (FourCC MJ2C works fine on others media players) is not decoded by VLC yet

Is it expected any time soon, or is it impossible for codec ownership reasons?

Thanks in advance
