I know its a bit off topic, but I would like to see a plugin based on vlc player for winamp. If thats possible.

Why dont use our player you may ask, it supports same or more formats than winamp.

Well, your interface is not that great (No insult intended), playlist is lacking, and a lot of users are more comfortable with winamps interface.
And lets face, it winamps video playing functions does not hold a candle to VLC player

So why not combine them?

Please note, that this is not meant as to replace VLC with winamp, I would still play all my movies in VLC, but use winamp for music videos

We are working on improving the playlist. The next release will have a much more flexible playlist core, but the gui probably still have a way to go.

The "vlc as a winamp plugin" is a very bad idea due to licensing issues among others.
