VLC is great. I appreciate all the hard work.

I sometimes play a movie with the player half size on the screen pulled to the upper right. I have the setting to always stay on top. This will allow me to do many things with a movie going on the screen. If the player would make all the borders go away, I could see even more of the screen.

I sometimes play a window in the upper right and one in the lower left. Having a player with no border would also allow more on the screen at once.

To me, the perfect player would never have a border (no controls no upper bar). Moving the mouse over the screen should pull up translucent controls to allow ff and such.

No borders? Am I the only one? No one else likes this idea?

well, i like this idea but it also would be cool if there would be an option for a minimal skin version like in splayer.

To remove menus and controls: menu View -> Minimal view
To remove the black bars of the video, if any, search for the appropriate resolution in the menu Video -> Crop

that is a wiked idea, love it, would look dead cool and futuristic... just one question how would you move it? maybe you could put a little tab on all 4 sides when the mouse goes over the borderless window... im no programmer.
