This one is long overdue for an overhaul, and has been in VLC for mac since year 'dot'
The equalizer settings in VLC, the "Enable" checkbox does not remain sticky after you close VLC.
Easy to fix, just probably an oversight.. Just wondering why no one has mentioned this one.
*if I knew how to code on the mac, it would have been fixed way before now*
