for some reason this doesn't work on my Win2000.

When ticking the wallpaper mode, the video is only visible in the VLC window, and in the desktop icon text backgrounds. :S
How could i fix it, reintalling doesn't work.
This problem is in 0.8.1 and 0.8.2 Beta.

Im running WinME (I kno I kno, mistake #1) with the exact same symptoms, when telling it to output to background it only shows up in the background of the icons text.
Hoping for the fix in 0.8.2

Disable the background in win2k to the default blue nonsense and try it again, it should work.

Atleast thats what was needed in sasami2k last time i had a play around.

Im using litestep right now (it mods your desktop in a number of ways) and it currently doesnt work on this box but im pretty certain it should work.

Sollution to video only visible in icon text

Just find the "display webcontents on my active desktop" checkbox and untick it, that should do the trick
