Exponential jump for audio and subtitle delays

Hi, I'd like to request for the exponential increment/decrement for the audio delay (default F and G keys) as well as subtitle delay (default H and J keys).
The problem is, e.g. when my video and subtitles are out-of-sync for a HUGE DIFFERENCE, say 3 mins, I will have to hold the H key to delay the subtitles. But the delay is only incremented by 50ms. Imagine if you want to set 3 mins (180000ms) delay, you will have to wait forever to reach that number. So I suggest something more intelligent like this: increments by 50ms for the first 3 sec of holding the key, then 200ms for the next 3 sec of holding the key, then 500ms, then 1000ms, then 2000ms, etc.
Worst still, if I close VLC and resumes the movie another time, I will have to re-sync the subtitles painfully again.
Thanks for you attention!![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
