MP3 album covers: Stretch to window size

I like to use vlc to play my mp3s, and I like very much that it displays the album cover of the current song.
When I maximize/enlarge vlc media player to use most of the screen, the album images can be very small, depending on the source. Currently cover images are reduced in size, but not enlarged.

I would like an option that VLC, and if set it will also _enlarge_ album covers to fit to window size!
