a feature I badly miss is the following one which is implemented in many DVD playback programs such as PowerDVD:
I watch a video and then for some reason I close VLC to watch the rest later. Now when I reopen VLC it would be really great if VLC would remember the last position so that I can watch the rest of the video without remembering that last position on my own (which is very annoying and often done via a text file
). Maybe this could be done via a short prompt such as "Restart or go on with the last position".Do you think this could be possible to implement?
