Better Subtitle Rendering

I have been using on my windows machine a video player called "the kmplayer" well it has this cool feature called "Draw to Overlay Surface" where, the quality of the subtitles displayed is independent of the video resolution, high quality subs, a nice feature to implement if you ask me.
