I have downloaded the VLC portable, can I have the settings saved in the same dir of the program? Don't like that I must save the
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\vlc
every time that I must format my PC

I did not good understand the significance of links unless it is a request already made long ago and not accepted...for me if you create a VLC portable edition it must is fully portable so I dream that in the new version we can have add this feature.

There isn't any acceptance. It is open trac ticket that anyone can fix if they want to.
