Hi, request is for resuming video or other file types at the previously viewed position, a very useful feature. Thanks

Bumping to see if resuming at last point viewed is yet a feature for video playback, I don't see it in the current preferences dialog. I'm confused what anyone else does without it - do people type a note in the same directory or in the file's name? That's all I can think of.. Thanks

The lack of this feature is the only reason I cannot use VLC. Its just too hard to remember where each video was stopped. Bookmarks just won't save either. I did try a 3rd party plugin that was supposed to add the resume functionality but all it did was freeze up VLC. I'm just going to recommend that people use KMPlayer until the resume feature is implemented in VLC.

that is why i use pot player because VLC doesn;t want to add bookmarks like everyone else SIMPLE bookmarks

The feature is available as a part of "recently played items" option in coming VLC-2.2.0 or use srpos plugin.
