Better support for black and white in OS X

Postby Olivier » 10 Feb 2005 13:27

I love old movies and series in black and white. Unfortunately, when the image is very dark (night scenes for instance), some of the darker spots of the image turn dark red. So I looked here and discovered there was a setting for grey levels output.
On a Mac, it gives a dark green / light green. Funny, but useless. Next time you improve VLC for Mac, could you improve that too? Merci.

VLC 8.0.1, on a G4 1.4 GHz, 1 Go RAM with OS X 10.3.7.

I've noticed this as well... Setting a video to grayscale mode on OSX results in shades of green, as opposed to shades of gray.
