possible bug: vlc opens 3 windows when playing .wmv file

look at: http://channel9.msdn.com/
here you can save some .wmv files. now pick up one and open it using vlc (I'm using vlc-0.8.2-svn-20050119 build).
as soon as vlc loads the file it opens 3 windows instead of one: the usual window with menus et all, and 2 other "undecorated" windows.
this happens under xp sp2. why does it opens 3 windows instead of just 1 ? is this a bug ?

ps: the audio also isn't working for these files.

thanks!

It is not a bug. For files with several video tracks vlc by default opens all. You can select which one to use in the video track menu.

how to disable this feature

is it possible to permanently disable this feature ? I find it annoying, especially since closing one of the windows has the effect of stopping the movie.
thanks.
