Rotation, Image, and speed

Rotation: there are countless times where i would watch something at a different angle than that of 180 degrees
-there should be a way to easily select rotation without going into the preferences and having it set permanently.

Image: i'm sure there are many people who would love to have one simple program do all the media work (video, audio, image, interactive flash).
-this program should be able to play all the images out there including Ai, Ps, and movable Gif. ofcourse editing these images in a "player" would be ridiculous.

Speed: i like the newest speed settings but it's still not smooth enough and it doesn't work as well at a really fast speed. i like this feature because in some cases when i want to go through a video quickly, like an educational one (or whatever), or i'm in a hurry, this feature cuts my time down.
-there should be more in between speeds like 2.5 or 1.75. the reading of the file shouldn't be skipping frames or seconds, but rather taking everything and just reading and playing it at a faster speed. (instead of 123456789 becoming 13579, it should remain 123456789 - just being read/typed faster)

right, but one, that's not simple enough, and two, it's like trying to figure out the time with no numbers.

perhaps...

"video>Rotate> 90d, 180d, 270d"

and anything more intuitive would require the first option. (on the side, i don't usually have the tools or anything else, like the playlist, open other than the main controls.) Also, it doesn't make sense to rotate the video and not have the left and right sides visible, as in it gets chopped off, leaving the ratio.
