When you open the jpeg files with vlc the following happens: the player opens the file, the picture shows, with MOVING SCROLL BAR and some time later, when the SCROLL BAR reach the end, Disables PICTURES!
If you press pause, you can watch the picture indefinitely.
Please correct this defect!
Also would like to see there was a scroll bar (up and down, left and right) images with higher resolution than screen PC (as in the photoalbum windows).
Yes, and a scaling slider would not have prevented ...

The scroll bar can be deactivated ( Preferences / All / Input Codecs / Access modules/ Fake / Duration in ms = 0 )
You can also do it through the command line ( vlc --fake-duration 0 ). 0 means infinite !

For scaling, you can use the 'o', alt-'o' and alt-shift-'o' hotkeys. (especially when in fullscreen mode)

Defect-opening jpeg image file can not view more than 10 seconds!-SCROLL BAR playing shows! file (as if this video clip!). This is a "play" can be stopped by pressing the pause (do not always have time to press the pause).
After 10 seconds have to play again in the press ....
Just wanted to be a standard photo album windows replaced with vlc media player.

erwan10, thanks for the tip!
