Feature Request:

I record a stream (MPEG2-TS) from a UDP source and would like small chunks (100MB maybe) instead of one large file.

An example would be Wireshark's dumpcap capability to split the network capture into custom file sizes or duration of recording. The file names contain a sequential number followed by a long timestamp.
