So you mean for example lyrics that are stored to ID3v2 tags?

yes they can be or some times or some times there in a text file

Have been a long supporter of this but havn't a clue where on VLC interface it would show if ever added to the future

I think there is a need for two modes. First one would be simple text window where you can copy the text. Second would be vout filter that would write lyrics to video output.

Yup, lyrics stored to ID3v2 tags. I think this feature would be nice. it can be included in the information window once you right click the file.
