VLC: Retention window size

Hello. I've been using VLC for along time now and I really think its a
great player and I enjoy the minimal mode.

But my problem is that ever time I put in an new video it corrects the windowsize to
the size the video has. Is it possible to keep the size I picked and keep it still when
I close VLC also?

Second question:
Is it possible to change the fullscreen controller?

Regards,
Humper

You will be delighted to know that this has been resolved in VLC 1.0 :D

Just untick the new added feature of "resize video to interface" and then restart VLC to work

I have been using 1.0 for weeks with using using this feature as well. It works perfect.

version 1.0 is still in development, you can download 1.0 Nighty build for your particular OS here:

You mean what buttons appear/layout on the Fullscreen controller? You can in the "customize interface" of 1.0. Just drag and drop to move or remove buttons in "customize interface" . Then you have to restart VLC to see changes

No not really, I mean can I complitly remake it? Because the gray feels so
win 95/98 and I would like to change it 100% to my style.

Also where do I find the "customize controller"?

Thanks for all your help, 1.0 worked very good.
Just one thing tho, everytime I close it it makes a bump sound (same as info/error(?)).

Likely soon but only with future skins that support fullscreen. It's not important for majority users ATM but I do support this in a way (more eye candy). The opportunity for users to skin the fullscreen controller Separately; would be a nice feature.
Also where do I find the "customize controller"?
It's under the top menu of 'View'

I don't know what you mean?

Okey great, your been very helpful.
With the last thing:
You know when you get like a info window with an "okey" button. It sounds like that
the windows original sound.

You getting an error, is that it?

I don't know if this controller works in fullscreen but it was made to be used with VLC. Mac OS only was not made for Windows.

Ah that's almost exactly, or atleast somthing that I was going to make.
So is it possible to do this for windows or do I have to wait for the next version?

I don't get an error I just get the sound that an error/info window gives.

You might have to wait some because Im not a premium user.
And sorry for the bad quality.
