Hello!
I've soldered up an IR-receiver which i'd like to use together with VLC.
Are there any plans on implementing Winlirc support?

I think winlirc can be used indirectly through girder and some hotkeys and such. At least I've heard reports of such setups working. Supporting winlirc should only be a matter of porting liblirc_client to winlirc. But I don't have enough motivation to do that myself (and my laptop (which is the only computer i have with windows on it) does not have a serial port).

haha oops, wrong post, looking at something else.... a day later has this been ported.

I would really like to see lirc support of some sort in the windows version as well. winlirc works very well with windows variants of mplayer.
