is it possible to add a small VLC icon to the explorer rightclickmenu of windows?

according to that it would require context menu handler. And creating one isn't trivial and it might cause issues that cause Explorer crash http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library ... S.85).aspx

It's a nifty lil idea, as VLC_help stated it might crash Explorer.exe on occassions. On another note all my apps on Windows that have icons on the context menu are mostly active startup or session processes on my XP system. Apps like WinRar, Shelltoys, Unlocker...

That mean it may coincide with my other recent suggestions of VLC 'running on startup' And the 'after-install disabling of context menu's'. Maybe a separate VLC exe could be added to the program folder which would adminster all this
