Hotkeys Suggestion.

Hi...
First of all, thanks for the best free player around....
I love it....
Now, what is happening is that im forced to stay with winamp for playing music because of the hotkeys. I play and listen to music at the same time and i like to have control of the player in the meantime, I tried with VLC but what happens is that when i have other applications open (and selected) the VLC's hotkeys wont work.
I also would recommend to categorize the Interface>hotkeys menu, for example: Interface>hotkeys>subtitles and in there have all the hotkeys that have to do with subtitles like the subtitle speed, cycle subtitles and so on.
My usual hotkeys for playback are
Alt+1 Play/Pause
Alt+2 Stop
Alt+3 Shuffle
Alt+4 Repeat
But as you know VLC dont allow to map numbers... I think it would be also a nice option.
All in all the program is great. I am hoping to see v1.0

At present (in the latest and greatest 1.0.0 nightlies (VideoLAN sure has come a long, awesome way)) the Global Hotkeys only seem to work for letters. I attempted to assign a global hotkey of CTRL+] and CTRL+[ but found they didn't work; using CTRL+I and CTRL+O worked. No doubt this will be resolved later. Winamp during gaming will be a thing of the past for me once the hotkeys are finished.

Can you fill a bug on trac?

Registered at the Trac but can't find the actual place to post a bug. I didn't need to, anyway, as after some browsing I found these which say the same thing concerning hotkeys:
https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/2647
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=57971&p=193139
Edit 1: Guess not. What I'm speaking of is something different, where certain keys can be mapped and work (I, O, U) and others not ([, ], etc.)....
Edit 2: I have to install a Trac program to post bugs?

No. Your internet browser is enough. But there have been some issues in trac so it might behave like drunken sailor.

I don't see any place to post bugs on the Trac site, so my account is still yet to be activated.
Anyway, I tested CTRL+] on Play/Pause as a Global Hotkey; it worked. In my
previous post where I tried CTRL+] and CTRL+[, they were for "Next" and "Previous" Actions (to change tracks in the Playlist), respectively; neither worked.
Edit: Seems to work on/off. Tried CTRL+ALT+= for Play/Pause; nothing. Then CTRL+P again; nothing.
(I am using VideoLAN 1.0.0-rc1-20090516-0003 GoldenEye on Windows XP SP3; VLC is not installed, only using .zip file from directory.)

Yes, I'd like sections as well.
I would like to use right: During playback = skipping chapters. During Pause = skipping frames.
I do this in Apple's DVD Player - they don't allow you to change the hot keys though.
Thanks!
