streaming live feed on Mas OS X

I'm using VLC on mac and PC's but while pc's are able to broadcast live video feed on version 0.7.2 and 0.8.1, mac's can't. Is this going to be possible on mac anytime???

this is already possible as far as i know.

Yes, you can stream but as far as I can see in VLC 0.8.1 you cannot stream from a live feed, i.e. acquired by a video card or a DV bridge card.

Can't capture live video w/ Mac as far as I can tell, either. It would be great to be able to stream live video using a Mac.
btw, WindowsXP version of live video capture and streaming works great. Fantastic software![/quote]
