In 0.9.9 version audio equalizer custom settings get lost after opening one file after another just getting back to flat sound setting that is the default audio equalizer settings . WHY? In one word, 0.9.9 version cannot remember its custom audio equalizer settings.

yes i have install the official release of 0.9.9 and i have also install testing version of 1.0.0 in which the audio equalizer settings can remember its custom settings and it does not get lost then i have no problem except it cannot play any wmv file. Then why you are asking me whether i have install official version of 0.9.9 or not because i have also install testing version of 1.0.0 then there is no any problem of audio equalizer settings as then it can remember its custom settings of audio equalizer but 0.9.9 cannot remember its custom settings of audio equalizer.

There are multiple 0.9.9 releases. Some sites distribute 0.9.9 nightlies as official 0.9.9 release. Because my 0.9.9 also remembers those EQ settings after file change, it would be likely that you haven't downloaded 0.9.9 from videolan.org or you have found a new bug.

Yes i have downloaded the 0.9.9 version from the official website of videolan [www.videolan.org] but not from other websites then why this is happening in case of 0.9.9 but not in case of 1.0.0. pre version as only it cannot play any wmv files.
