plz add the function "swf" overlay on video like u do with "png" logo. so vlc player is user for various purpose..in that i like to use swf with alpha channel support so plzeeeeeeeeeeeeee do that work any type of flash swf file overlay......

So you want to overlay x-shockwave-flash content to the video?

i like vlc because it came with lot of setting if the "swf" overlay function add we use vlc as a tv channel,

1) animated advt at bottom of video,
2) if u add alpha channel for swf it is more useful
3) swf format movie came with " loadmovie " function in that we can control one swf from another vice verca

very useful........so plzeeeeeeeeeee develop the vlc to ready for feature....

swf is a proprietary technology... I don't see the point of including this over any other of animated content, like another video, or a MNG.
