I've always been looking for a proper media player for PSP
and I'm been thinking of starting the VLC for PSP port...
Let me know if anyone has tried and succeeded or failed..

Noone has done that, but if you want, come on our IRC, because we have knowledge, since some people ported VLC on WinCE and other Linux ARM/MIPS devices.

Well, set a cross-compiling environment and then come and ask on IRC.actually im very interested in this project...

Any more information on that? I'm assuming it's not an official project? I've been using Windows Mobile for the past 4 years, and since TCPMP was discontinued, I've been waiting for something to take it's place...some people ported VLC on WinCE...

with the CE OS 5.2.2070 (build 20270.1.3.1) system?
i only ask couse i have tryed to download it and i get a notice on the phone saying that it's not supported...
( yes, i don't know what info you need to answer so i gave all the info i had)
