Close button in full screen mode

Hello,

I have the following usage scenario: I have a multimedia PC using a simple explorer window to show all video files. Now I use VLC to start any of these video files. Simply, any video should start in fullscreen, so that there is no need to do this manually. On close, I would like to simply click on a "close" button on the full screen control panel (maybe instead of the "leave full screen" button). Normally, I don't want to change any settings, so I only want to close VLC completely from full screen.

Is there any possibility to put a "close" button into the full screen mode control panel instead of the "leave full screen" button?

It should be possible.

Thanks for your reply.

Another possibility for me would be the removal of the "leave full screen" button and configure VLC to close in case of pressing the stop button. Is there a way to do that?
