Download Location for OSX

I just downloaded the new VLC via the new update feature!

Could I suggest that it tries to put the download in the Mac OS X User Download File? It has been implemented fairly well on 10.5, good to stay in keeping with the OS workflow.

OS X 10.4 did not have the download folder, and all the system apps of course, did no put there downloads in it.
