Speed change during a looped playback

An option I'd like to see is a way to lock in a playback speed change until further notice.

A lot of times I loop a small video clip of a sports or home movie, etc, and
slow it down to catch the action. The problem is, it resets to normal speed
when the video starts over if you're looping the video with "repeat"
activated. Makes it kind of a pain to have to keep pressing the + or - key
to change speeds each time it loops.

If you could fix it so the user could select to keep the speed locked in
until the user says otherwise, it would greatly be appreciated.
Maybe add the (shift)key into the equation, or make it a check block
in the general config area called "keep speed changes", or something to
that effect. Or at least have it stick until you exit VLC.

It would also be handy when you want slo-mo from all files in a playlist.
You would never have to hit the (Minus or Plus) for each video. They would
all play fast or slow until you say otherwise.

thanks... :)

Also in relation to "looped playback":
A manual screen resizing also defaults back to the original
size when the video starts over. If that could somehow be
be locked in during looped play, it would be appreciated.

Only manual resizing seems to revert when looped.
Locked in configured sizes, and fullscreen, keep their size
fine during a loop...

Both of these would be very useful. I watch a lot of video playlists slightly sped up (with the scale temp filter turned on) to save time, and it would be great to lock in both the screen size and playback speed so I don't have to keep changing it.
