Memory Stick Voice File .MSV

I love VLC, but have had to start using some Sony digital voice recorders and the new ones use a format called Memory Stick Voice File with ad .MSV format.
Any chance you all could look into adding that file format for support?

If it's a proprietary format then no, it's not possible, legally.

I was not sure if it was proprietary or not, but i guess knowing Sony it probably is.
I guess I was just hoping someone might have said "oh Sony has now opened that up"..... so maybe VLC could add it.
