Play *.ram with VLC

Hello,
Me question is, if it is possible, that the VLC media player works with *.ram files soon. (Real-Player-Presentation)
At the momenent he doesn't and I don't need the Real-Player.

Real Video and Audio support will get better in upcoming release (hopefully). But AFAIK no SMIL etc. support so interactive content will be problematic.

Well realaudio demuxer still suck. If you want to try I can give you a *p_pointer to what to do.

Ah ok.
But it exists a program,
Real Player Alternative, that can play Real files, because it uses the ectracted codecs from the original Real Player. Is this way impossible for VLC Player?
