Auto-reconnect

The gather module with --sout-keep crashes when I'm streaming videos with different size (or codec, don't know), so I can't use it, and the client-VLC stops playing after every single file. But when I'm receiving MMS(H) stream via Windows Media Player, it reconnects itself automatically and user don't even know, that the stream was interrupted. Can you, please, implement the auto-reconnection too?
