VLC for 3D professional

HI, i work in the 3d professional field and in the digital animation in italy. You know quick time is the standard software in this field, above all for its main feature, the possibility to scroll a timeline in fluid way, just hitting the left and right arrow on the keyboard. This make quicktime perfect for watching digital animation several times, as it heppens in digital works, where every sequence must be watched infinite times without time jumps on timeline (as happens in vlc).
It could be a good thing if u add this feature to VLC player, that is according to me and a lot of professional artist i know, a real bomb in stability and speed about decoding video streamings.
We are all bored about quicktime, it takes about 1 min to open a 1gb video from a LAN, while VLC make this instantaneously. VLC rocks, i hope you'll develop more in the 3d professional direction, to give us a more professional tool

Bye. Daniel

I think he means that when you drag the time line scroll it doesn't play every frame it skips large chunks of frames. So if I'm not mistaken he wants it to play like you have it in fast forward when dragging the time line scroll bar.
