Stream output direct to HDTV thrush Firewire

Postby Arian » 08 Sep 2004 09:39

I wonder if this is possible.

If it is, then it will definitely boost VLC to a new level!

Imagine... connect your PC with your HDTV equipment with a usual firewire cable and watch every format VLC player supports on 720p of 1080i.

It would be the perfect media player!

Looks like no one shows any interest on that! That’s a bit disappointing.

VLC already produces transport streams on the fly. It would be so lovely if those transport streams can transport them self in my HDTV receiver thrush firewire.
