Make seek bar clickable

When you click on the seekbar, it seems to skip forwards or backwards through the movie, in steps of one tenth of the movie towards (or beyond) the cursor, at least on Windows.
Here's what I mean:

This is pretty inconvenient, why not instead simply jump to the exact mouse pointer position, whenever you click somewhere on the seekbar.
(I know you can also drag the seek bar indicator, but simply clicking where you want to jump to is easier).

Same for the fullscreen progress bar (which I didn't know about until reading that post).. please make it clickable.

One more suggestion: is it possible to add some shortcut keys to make small forward / backwards skips? For example, the cursor left + right keys to jump back or forward 5 sec in the movie. It'd really be a quite useful feature.

Yup, you can do this in your current version. The default hotkeys are Shift-Left and Shift-Right for 3 seconds backward of forward. You can change the default hotkeys by going to Preferences -> (tab) Interface -> Hotkeys -> scroll down to "Very short backwards jump" or "Very short forward jump" and change them to whatever you want, it's not guaranteed to always work. You can also scroll all the way to the bottom of that menu and change the Jump size to 5 seconds.

That seems to work fine, thanks!
