Fullscreen Progress bar preview

Postby Shade_Ninja » 23 Dec 2007 05:58

I Love VLC I use it for almost all my media playback, but there is one feature I would love to see in VLC which is seen in Windows media player. When I am playing a movie sometimes I want to know how far through the video has already played, in WMP if you move your mouse you can see a preview of the progress bar at the bottom of the screen and after a few seconds of not moving the mouse it disappears, I find this a quick easy way to determine the progress of the media being played back. Currently if I want to see the progress in VLC I have to exit fullscreen mode to see the progress bar although this isn't a critical feature to have having to exit fullscreen mode to check on the progress does interrupt my media playback experience and would be nice to see in a following version of VLC. Thanks

Use the 't' key in fullscreen mode to know where you are.
