Nicer looking subtitles

Nicer looking subtitles. Why? Mmm... the thing is that the subtitles seem to be like without any antialiasing or whatever makes fonts smooth. It's annoying to download a 7.5 GB movie in x264 in 720p with various subs fit in the .mkv and when you go and turn the subs on... BAM! These fat and ugly subs appear. Media Player Classic (nothing to do with Windows Media Player) makes a pretty good job at this for example.
Thanks in advance :-)

The developers have responded a few times in some other threads and said that they plan to make subtitles better in the next version of VLC, at least that's what I remember them saying.
