vlc memory on dvd

When i watch a dvd some times a have to stop before the dvd end.When i want to re-watch the dvd i want to start from the previous point i stop
A nice feature on the player would be the ability of the player to remember the exact point of intermission.
I don't know if this is possible but it will be a very interesting feature.
