Hi there... some features that would be great

Well first of all i just love this app, its simple, fast great.. well the team have done a really good just until now and i hope this program keep getting better and better.

Just to ambient everyone whats going one....
I have a new pc with a Duo core 2, windows XP pro.. vlc 0.8.6c, and im this case using a USB 2.0 external HD 500gb 7200rmp 8mb buffer
and in this HD i have 400gb of many kind of movies.. short animations, vidcasts, whatever.... something like 2000 videos...

Ive been looking for a app to sort it in a library anykind of media, like video and audio.(many extansion and audio as well). Then ive reallized that if i do a left click over the folder i could add for a vlc playlist.. so i did it...and then the 1 problem came.. it tooks about 10min...no progresse bar...so at the first i though it had frezzed but didnt...10min cmon. to long and even so there was no progress bar, and even worst after sometime the autoplay starts but with no video, just sound!!!!!!but after all i saw that on that playlist my folders become as a "blue folder" and inside with my videos or even subfolders... whats for me is just PURFECT just simple not thumbs or what ever what is nice sometimes but its like to be a option for me on the others players whats not.. and thats what ive been looking.. a simple thing, although i saved and reopen the playlist file and that folders sorted disapired.. WHY???????wheres the blue folders???? now i just see a bunch of many videos with no way to sort at all.

So what i would like to see on the future vension is a library a GOOD, SIMPLE, REALLIABLE libray, i dont really need a library as media player where you can add stars.. for favorites... or whatever... im just talking about a library as FOOBAR2000 fast with a realtime search what is amazing btw....
And to be honest i dont use VLC to listin music.. not coz its not fast enough to open.. or coz of the inferface.. i just dont use cuz theres no library so then when i wanna listin a full album is just do a "enter" on the album.. So as far vlc plays music so whats the point not to add a library for the mp3 as well??.. so would be even nicer if you guys add a multimedia library Video/Audio.. where im able to see just video/audio if i want.. Another great thing you can see into foobar2k's library is the DRAG'n DROP.. its just fantastic... if you wanna play that file or even a full album on another player like, WMP, Itunes, winamp, just drop over that program... it works... simple like that.. but then for exemple if you wanna copy anything from this library into another folder just drop over the targeted folder.. and that it... simple isnt it???
And of corse a progress bar... percentage, or a box showing that the program is working somewhere...while your scanning to build your library, and add something over your library like winamp one... great as well

Well sorry about my english... if i wasnt clear enough just let me know than ill try explain in another way.
My intation is not to copy any program as far ive mention many times about foobar2k, well after all foobar is a open source and it has by the base to improve the community so why not??

But first of all pls i dont know about the others but i just use VLC coz it FAST so dont loose this fast startup for a library it dont worth but why not do this library as a option... then whose dont want this feature has a even faster player. but as far i have a fast player and a great library i would used even more.

Btw if there are already anyway to do those things or even maybe keep the "blue folders" from the start... let me know pls,ncoz ive been searching and i didnt manage to find it...

A media library feature is being developed right now. It will be released when 0.9.0 version comes out I believe.
