With some media players when you press the "Previous" or "Back" button instead of going to the previous item it will simply restart at the beginning of the currently playing item unless the user double-clicks the previous/back button, Currently VLC just goes to the previous item.

Is this preferred, or would it be better if it were to go to the beginning of the currently playing item like other media players do?

I'll start off.

I seem to always be going against the grain in these polls, or is it everyone is against the CloudStalker? :(

To go to the beginning of a video file you can press the stop button.
