Desktop Wallpaper Playback

There should be a remark somewhere in the documentation or wiki that desktop video playback only works under Windows if boolean "lock web items on desktop" in the desktop context menu in "arrange icons by..." is unchecked; since otherwise, the video won't be rendered, turning the desktop background merely blank.

Feature Request:
Automatically check via shell whether web item lock is enabled and give a hint to the user, or turn lock off automatically for the duration of the playback.

and btw.. is there a keyboard-shortcut to start/stop the desktop playback mode ???

other media players like bsplayer do have.

if there is nothing yet i recomment to implement a key for that.

I've just added such a key ('w' like wallpaper). This will only work on windows when using the directx video ouput for the time being (well, the key exists on other OSes but it won't do anything). This will be available in tomorrow's nightly build ( http://nightlies.videolan.org )
