Easier change for file associations

Hi,
it should be possible to activate/deactivate the file associations of VLC in an optionsmenu and not only in the installer.

This is a windows feature. It's already a luxury we offer it in the Installer as well. Just use the properties dialog of a file in Windows.
It's why Microsoft created it.

I have changed the "open with", but the files are still listed as VLC media file. I like JetAudio's tag edits with it's information about the songs, but they are gone. They only show up for Winamp media files (I don't have any JetAudio files). Even having a file open with JetAudio doesn't show the JetAudio features in right-click features. How do I change the type of file from VLC to Winamp?
